Trevor
and Faye Yerbury are two of the UK’s leading
photographers of the nude and have, over more than 15
years, amassed an incredible archive of work that will
be released exclusively onto their web site over the
next few years.
Trevor
has been a photographer for more than 30 years starting
in the family portrait studio established by his great
grandfather in 1864. Faye is also a professional
photographer, trained by Trevor, as well as a talented
make-up artist and stylist. Trevor and Faye between them
have been awarded 15 Kodak Gold Awards and in 1994
Trevor was awarded the title Kodak Photographer of the
Year. Their work has been featured in many books and
magazines on photography and they have appeared on
several television and radio programmes in the UK.
The
new website will contain showcase galleries of work from
their exhaustive archives as well as new work which the
couple are currently working on including the exclusive
series ‘Victoria’s Summer’ which follows a young
girls journey from teenager into adulthood and features
the stunning 18 year old Victoria V photographed in her
historic country house. This body of work will be
accompanied by extracts from Victoria’s own personal
diary revealing the thoughts, dreams and emotions of
young women.
Recently
the Yerbury’s were commissioned by a new 5* hotel to
provide all the artwork for the bedrooms and suites.
They have produced over 200 framed works, some over 1
1/2 meters in length; all of female nude images taken
from their vast archive. This is probably the only hotel
in the world to have commissioned a single photographer
to provide images of the nude for all their rooms and
makes the Yerbury’s two of the leading photographers
of the nude.
