Amerikaner Eric M. Chapman analysiert in seinen
eindrücklichen Arbeiten fast wie ein Therapeut die
Psyche, oder besser Seele eines erotischen Moments, dessen
Atem sich in einem Portrait ebenso niederschlagen kann,
wie in einer Körperstudie. Begleitet von einem ganz
eigenen Stil der Illumination enthüllt sich dem
Betrachter so Bild für Bild eine Seelenlandschaft voll
sinnlicher Tiefe und Schönheit, die eben nicht nur auf
dem Fotopapier existiert, sondern jedem auf die eine oder
andere Weise schon begegnet ist. |

Born outside Cincinnati,
Ohio in the winter of 1967
Eric recently went back to school and graduated with a
dual degree in Botany (B.A.), and Geography (B.A.)
With the current political climate in the United States,
and all the funding that would have gone into
environmental work being funneled into the Bush/Cheney
war-machine, Eric has found himself with all the time in
the world to pursue his love of photography.
While he enjoys landscapes, flora/fauna, and still life
photography, his greatest love is in bringing out the
beauty of the feminine form. The lines, curves, shadows,
and textures of the female nude are an endless source of
beauty and mystery. Eric finds tremendous joy in exposing
a womans hidden beauty to not only herself, but the rest
of the world as well.
Eric is currently developing his portfolio, actively
looking for places to exhibit his work, seeking new models
to collaborate with, accepting private commissions, and
hoping that someday he will be asked to contribute to a
publication...
